Arrival by car
You can easily reach the Zillertal via the Inntal motorway. Please note that a motorway vignette is required for driving on Austrian motorways. The vignette is now also available as a digital one-day vignette and can be purchased online at any time at: www.vignette.at or www.adac.de/fahrzeugwelt/maut-vignette/oesterreich
From the Zillertal exit continue on the Zillertal road no. 169 to Mayrhofen (ap. 30km). The Tuxer Landesstrasse from Mayrhofen to Hintertux is easy to drive all year round. Sometimes chain duty in winter! Arrived in Lanersbach you will find our house near the center.

Arrival by train
By train to the station Jenbach and from there about 35km with the Zillertalbahn to Mayrhofen. From there, take the bus in the direction of Tux / Hintertux to Lanersbach.

Innsbruck Airport (87 km)
Innsbruck Airport is the closest international airport and can be reached in approximately one hour by car. From there, Tux is easily accessible by rental car, taxi or public transport.
Salzburg Airport (183 km)
Salzburg Airport is located around two hours from Tux and offers numerous domestic and international flight connections. The onward journey can be made comfortably by rental car, train or bus.
Munich Airport (209 km)
Munich Airport is one of Europe's largest international aviation hubs and is approximately 2.5 hours from Tux. Thanks to excellent transport links, the Tux Valley can be reached conveniently by rental car, shuttle service or public transport.
