Nestled in a picturesque side valley of the Zillertal, Tux is surrounded by the breathtaking mountain scenery of the Tyrolean Alps. The municipality, home to around 2,000 residents, consists of the villages of Vorderlanersbach, Lanersbach, Juns, Madseit and Hintertux, offering a unique blend of nature, relaxation and outdoor adventure.
Tux is best known for the Hintertux Glacier, which provides year-round skiing and snow sports. The region is also home to the popular Ski & Glacier World Zillertal 3000 ski area (with connections to the Mountopolis ski area), countless hiking trails, spectacular natural attractions and an alpine landscape that captivates visitors in every season.
